We are currently reading submissions for Vol.7 of The Letters Page, to be published in 2023.

We are back in the office, and ready to receive your real handwritten letters in the post.

Before submitting please carefully read the submission guidelines.

Guidelines 

At The Letters Page, we publish stories, essays, poems, memoir, reportage, criticism, recipes, travelogue, and any hybrid forms. We are looking for writers of all nationalities and ages, both established and emerging. We only ask that your submission come in the form of a letter.

Your letter must be sent in the post, to :

The Letters Page, School of English, University of Nottingham, NG7 2RD, UK.

We don’t have a strict word limit, but our attention span is often short. We rarely publish letters above 750 words.

Please allow time for us to read and respond to submissions. We will try to get back to you as soon as possible, but our typical response time is around 4 months. 

*Any submissions that are not in letter form will be automatically rejected.* 

All contributors will receive the next Aerogramme whether successful or not. 

Contributors whose letter’s gets shortlisted will get a years subscription.

Published contributors will receive a gift subscription to one of our favourite small presses or literary journals. And will get a lifetime subscription to our Aerogramme letters.
